Alright, I just got back from AX last night and, my god, it was a blast; it's even better when you spend it with close friends too. Checked in for the hotel Wednesday with Kat and Carl, and spent the first night up in the hotel-I got to see Kat's playthroughs on EOS and MOF-then we played versus on Scarlet Weather Rhapsody(Apparantly I'm oddly good playing as Patchoulli). I had a headache that night because I was so nervous/excited about the whole thing, so that night I kept waking up every hour or so. Next day was great, I got into my cosplay, and hoshit, people actually knew who I was cosplaying, Kat went as Lisa Basil from Phoenix Wright, and her costume was ACE, it was also pretty useful because I got lost at one point and managed to find her right away in it. The Touhou shoot the next day, oh my god, I was floored, I had no idea that the fandom had reached out to the US so much in such a big way, it was amazing to see so many fans of the game series, it was nuts cx though at some point during the shoot this creepazoid kept asking me to sit in his lap since I was dressed as his favorite character-DID NOT WANT( :C). Next day we went to a Power Rangers Tribute Panel; the voice overs of Lord Zed and (HOMG!!!) Rita Repulsa were there as well as the Mastadon Ranger-that night afterward, me Kat and Carl all had drinks-I got myself pretty damn buzzed that night, but I got to talk to Reisen on teh phone~ X3
Final day of the con was spent getting Rita's autograph, buying last minute things in the Artist Alley, getting shiny Mudkip Mystery Gifts, and then all of us plus my sister spent hours hanging out up in the hotel room just talking and enjoying each other's company until my sister and I had to go home :'D
